ALABASTER INTERNATIONAL
Alabaster history and major accomplishments Alabaster International, an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1991 as an educational outreach to schools, orphanges, state & federal prisons, emergency shelters and low income-high risk communities. Over 450,000 individuals in Pennsylvania, South Dakota, West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, Kentucky, Alabama, Florida and Colorado, as well as Honduras, Nicaragua and Jamaica have been infused with the power of character building tools through the vehicles of music, drama, art and dance. In addition to hands-on lessons and camps in drug & alcohol prevention through the arts, life skills, conflict resolution and peacemaking skills are taught. Professional concerts are presented in under-served neighborhoods, schools, and prisons, inspiring and reinforcing the maximization of each individual's potential. Alabaster's comprehensive program involves students learning side-by-side with professional performers in concerts, workshops and missions in the local, national and international communities, actively seeking and teaching world-peace and dialogue with peoples of all races, nations, religions and colors, at the grass root level.

In our 15 year history, it has been Alabaster's experience with over 500,000 participants world-wide that Christian values expressed and experienced in music, art, drama and dance have led to higher thinking skills, creative problem solving, imagination development, confidence building, heightened self-respect and respect of others, resulting in less conflict and stronger conflict resolution when required |
